Joel Arel was a founding member the Evergreen Subaru team when it opened its doors in 2005. And he still brings an unmatched energy and passion to his work. He has been recognized by coworkers and customers alike for his "can-do" attitude and his willingness to do whatever it takes to create a positive customer experience. Joel is an Auburn native and loves all things automotive. He has worked in service and parts departments for the better part of his career. Of his job, Joel notes, "I love helping people with their car problems, finding solutions that make the most sense and getting them back on the road." Joel lives in Auburn with his wife (Linda), son (Tommy) and cat ("Subie.") He also has a daughter (Allyson), who lives in Portland. In his free time, Joel likes to "work on things," namely, cars, trucks, four- wheelers, boats, dirt bikes. Joel says: "If it has an engine, I want to make it run!" He also enjoys fishing, kayaking, snowboarding and biking.

Dustin began at Evergreen Subaru as manager of our Parts Department before he was promoted to Assistant Service Manager. He says this about his role: "I love taking care of customers and their needs. And it's really rewarding to build the kind of trust that brings them back time and time again." Dustin is originally from Rockland and currently lives in Winthrop, Maine with his wife, Amelia, son, Elijah and dog, Penny.

Alex grew up watching his dad work on his cars and says "I have always loved cars- taking them apart and putting them back together." Even when he's not working, he's always "wrenching" cars- either building his own projects or helping a friend. Alex is originally from and still resides in Turner, Maine.

Craig worked as a Technician at Evergreen Subaru for nearly ten years and then left several years ago to try working in a new industry. We are delighted to welcome him back to Evergreen! He is originally from Sabattus and attended St. Dominic's. He now lives in Lewiston. In his free time, Craig enjoys playing in men's league hockey and drag racing.

John has worked on cars for most of his career, but this is his first time working for a Subaru dealership. Despite that, John is definitely a Subaru guy! He has served as a "Subaru Ambassador," a volunteer role in which individuals talk to Subaru owners about their cars, Subaru of America's Love Promise, which makes a difference in communities both nationally and locally. He has always wanted to officially be part of a Subaru dealership and we are excited to have him on board! John is passionate about taking a car that is destroyed and making it feel good as new.

Gilmay Lamarre

Gilmay supports the service department and dealership in many ways, including as a driver. She ensures that our customers have the most convenient service experience possible. A school bus driver for 30 years, she's no stranger to being behind the wheel. She enjoys how varied her days can be -- taking in Maine's beautiful scenery throughout the seasons. She says this about working at Evergeen: "It's great fun to meet customers and make their day a little easier." When on a Valet run, she loves to bring special treats for our customers' four-legged friends. Gilmay comes from a big family (she's 1 of 10!) and was born and raised in Lewiston.

As Express Service Technician, Yoel is one of the professionals who helps provide quick, quality basic services for customers, such as oil changes and tire rotations. Yoel enjoys the environment of rolling up his sleeves and working with other hardworking team members. Originally from Michigan, Yoel moved to the Lewiston/Auburn area when he was young. He enjoys exercise and physical fitness in his free time.

As Evergreen Subaru's Used Car Technician, Alex repairs and readies cars taken in trade or purchased at auction to be showroom ready. He enjoys that he can give these cars a second life for a customer to cherish for years to come.

Alex grew up in South Paris and attended Central Maine Community College. In his free time, he enjoys mountain biking, working on rally cars and traveling.
