The 2027 Subaru Forester Wilderness Hybrid is now the newest Forester Hybrid Subaru has announced. It was revealed on April 1, 2026, and is due late in 2026. It blends the Forester's useful shape with Wilderness trail gear and a hybrid drive.

This is the first Subaru Wilderness model with hybrid power. It makes 194 total system horsepower. Subaru says it can use up to 25 percent less fuel in the city than the gas Forester Wilderness. It also has an estimated range of 481 miles per tank.

The official 2027 Forester Wilderness Hybrid page lists standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, a hybrid system, and trail-ready cabin gear. Pricing has not been shared as of July 29, 2026.
